Blue Pages Win the Fight
"Bear Fight"

The Blue Pages
While the pop-rock genre seems to be filled with a million bands that all sound remarkably the same, there is something about The Blues Pages from Massachusetts that sets them apart from the rest. Their sophomore release "Bear Fight" proves that this band is not like everyone else.
Yes, The Blue Pages are pop-rock but thanks to lead singer Zac Barnett and the smoothness in which he delivers each line, "Bear Fight" goes above and beyond the genre. Barnett his falsettos that haven't been hit since The Beach Boys and is reminiscent of Brandon Flowers, lead vocalist for The Killers.
Instrumentally, the boys in The Blue Pages hold their own, weaving together the perfect background for the vocals. Songs like "Loverboy and "There Will Be Blood" are the gems on this album but the whole thing is worth your effort. The five-track EP shines and is a don't miss independent release from Walking City Records.
