If you're lucky enough to stand beside her, you'll notice that there's not much to Torry Castellano. Barely 5'3” tall and carrying most of her weight in her mass of blond hair, there are few drummers that can rival the hard hitting, animal-like power that Torry wields from behind her Pearl Reference series kit. In our first-ever Women in Rock profile, we're taking a look at the thunder behind the big rock sound that is California's The Donnas.

Fun facts: Speaks fluent Japanese, was accepted to college where she planned to pursue acting. Torry learned to drum on a rented drum kit after being approached by Allison Robertson and Maya Ford to join their “band” Screen for a lunchtime talent show. She had no experience drumming prior to this.
